Annie Gilbert

Annie Gilbert is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked in the charter school industry for over 20 years.  Annie and her husband Bryan have been married for 32 years and have four sons who all attended charter schools in Arizona. Annie and Bryan created, opened and ran one of the first independent coffee houses in Mesa in 1993 and sold it in 2000. Annie is currently the Senior Director of Finance and Operations for Ball Charter Schools, a Kindergarten through 8th grade network of charter schools in the Phoenix Metro area.  Annie has served on the Governor’s Classroom First Council and the Charter School Program grant review team for the Department of Education.  Annie is a founding member of the Highland Prep Governing Board and is excited to be part of a school producing the innovators of the future.
