Monica Woo, School Counselor

Hello, my name is Monica Woo. I am so thrilled to be the new counselor for Madison Highland Prep and Highland Prep High School. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2012 with my Bachelors of Science in Family and Human Development. For six and a half years, I was a Parent Educator for a nonprofit. My role was to support parents and children in areas of: parenting education, child development, school readiness, and providing resources and referrals. Throughout the years, I have gained valuable knowledge in mental health advocacy and resource specialist. 

In my personal life, I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I am the second oldest of eight sisters. My son, Ben, is a kind and spirited eight-year-old. Some of my hobbies include: motorcycling, boxing, paddle boarding, dragon boat paddling, camping, hiking, and traveling.
