Brian Jones, Assistant Principal
Brian Jones is a proud Navy veteran who began his teaching career in 2008 as an AP Spanish teacher at his alma mater, in South Tucson, AZ. He also served as the Varsity Girl’s Head Track Coach, Junior Varsity Football and Soccer Head Coach, Student Council advisor and University of Arizona Corrido Contest coach. In 2013, he moved his family to Mesa, AZ, where he currently resides. During his time in the valley he has served as a teacher, track and football coach, Dean of Students, Director of Student Affairs and Head of School at a STEM charter organization. Mr. Jones earned an Associate’s degree at Pima Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering degree at the University of Arizona where he double majored in Spanish and secondary education and minored in history, a Master’s degree at the University of Arizona in Language, Reading and Culture and finally another Master’s degree at Grand Canyon University in Educational Administration.
